Description
The Morrisville Aquatics and Fitness Center is seeking passionate, part-time Group Fitness Instructors to lead high-energy, engaging classes. We are seeking instructors for spin, senior-focused fitness, dance cardio, and high-intensity boot camp and strength training classes. The ideal candidates are enthusiastic, customer-focused, and skilled at adapting class formats to accommodate all fitness levels while fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for our diverse community.
Examples of Duties
Lead and instruct group fitness classes in a safe and effective manner.
Substitute for regular instructors as needed.
Demonstrate proper form and technique for all exercises.
Modify exercises for participants of all fitness levels.
Motivate and encourage participants to achieve their fitness goals.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ensure that all workout equipment is organized and stored properly after class.
Typical Qualifications
Current certification in Group Fitness, Personal Training, or a recognized specialty fitness format is required.
Previous experience leading group fitness classes is strongly preferred.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and inspire participants of all levels.
Confidence and adaptability in working with individuals of all ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds.
Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Part-time positions requiring less than 1000 hours per year and Temporary positions are eligible for free membership to the Morrisville Aquatics and Fitness Center, membership to the Local Government Federal Credit Union, and other benefits required by law.
