POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Lead Account Executive, the Cyber Security Engineer focuses on Testing and the security aspects of theproject. This individual will develop and execute the Test Plan for the customer on IOT, which coversfunctional testing of the IoT sensors, integration testing with existing customer systems, andcybersecurity testing (such as verifying that the system identifies simulated threats or meets customer security requirements). They ensure all security controls are effective, and that the system achieves an Authority to Operate (ATO) if required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

During implementation, this engineer works closely with the Implementation Engineer to validate that deployment at each site is successful and secure.

They also support Optimization by analyzing Defender for IoT alert outputs and device inventory data to fine-tune detection rules and reduce false positives over time.

Will create documentation related to security procedures, user guides for security personnel, and training materials for customer staff who will use the new system.
