Status: Onsite Non-exempt
Shift Options:
Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts for 3rd shift at Building 28
Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts for 1st shift at Applewhite facility
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for mold changes to support the production schedule. This position is an onsite hourly and the ideal candidate must be able to work overtime if needed. This position is placed on a skill progression giving the option to make up to $2.00 after completion of training.
This Team Member will be responsible for the following expectations:
Set injection molding molds in accordance with schedule.
Connect water, hot runner, initial process set-up with robot and machine
Assist Proc. Eng/Proc Techs with minor start-up procedures and repairs
Able to perform color changes
Comply with Reyes Automotive Group safety program
Conduct 5S activity
Conduct material changes per Production Schedule
Maintain Pit Crew Carts for 5S and restocking
Apply oil pads to floor where needed
Maintain purge and mold change records, to be completed daily
Communicate daily issues to Pit Crew GL. and/or Proc. Eng.
Abide by and ensure the following of all set safety standards
Complete machine Platen PM
Any other related work deemed necessary by your manager
Requirements:
Education:
• High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in fast paced manufacturing environments.
Technical experience preferred. Automotive industry preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: N/A
Computer Skills:
Beginner in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and in the use of e-mail, web browser applications.
Mathematical Abilities:
• Intermediate-advanced math skills.
Analytical or Reasoning Abilities: • Strong analytical, planning skills and critical thinking ability required with orientation for continuous improvement.
Ability to understand and follow written technical procedures/instructions
Communication Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning)
• Ability to read, write and speak English
Highly effective, articulate communication skills (verbal & written) with strong interpersonal effectiveness and the ability to work with all levels in the organization and across cultures
Bilingual English-Spanish preferred
Other Skills (Technical, or Other special knowledge and abilities)
The ability to learn the technical aspects of the position required
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.
Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage a variety of projects and tasks.

Physical Requirements:
100% will be spent on the production floor completing work related to the position.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds individually and team lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others. Must wear all personal protective equipment where required.

Be outside of their 90-day probationary period and have 6 months in their current role
