Position Title\: Computer Systems Analyst
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for a Computer Systems Analyst. The Computer Systems Analyst understands and applies the principles of Systems Analysis and Design at the application level to improve the completion of a variety of existing business tasks within the Department. Develops and maintains components of applications and systems. This position reports to the Systems Section Supervisor and does not supervise others. Required Education and Experience:
All levels require a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, construction engineering technology, or a related field.
Level 1 ($37.27)\: 3 years of experience in information systems development/maintenance and computer programming.
Level 2 ($38.88)\: 4 years of experience in information systems development/maintenance and computer programming.
Level 3 ($40.55)\: 5 years of experience in information systems development/maintenance and computer programming.
Alternative qualifications include\: any combination of additional related work experience and education equivalent to the minimum qualifications.
This agency may use a training assignment. Employees in training assignments may be paid below the base pay established by the agency pay rules. Conditions of the training assignment will be stated in writing at the time of hire.
