Facilities Technician

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Facilities Supervisor

Shift: M-F 6am-2:30pm

Purpose:

Maintain facilities – Buildings, Aux. Equipment, and grounds

General Duties:

Installing receptacles.

Replacing (110V, 220V, and 480V) motors.

Installing (110V, 277V, and 480V) light fixtures.

Replacing bulbs and blast throughout the facility.

Maintaining HVAC systems.

Maintaining air compressors.

Maintaining the boilers.

Perform 3S activities.

Drywall repairs.

Painting.

Plumbing.

Fork truck repair

Concrete repair

Asphalt repair

All other jobs, which pertain to the upkeep of the facilities.

Performs other duties as required.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication

Excellent problem solving and time management

Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment

Must be able to operate fork Lifts, aerial lifts, cranes and maintenance type vehicles.

Ability to oversee contractors

Computer skillsRequirements:

2 years’ work experience in facility type maintenance.

Able to work in high places with aerial lifts and ladders

Able to lift heavy objects

Able to sit, bend, kneel, stand and walk.

Able to work in extreme heat and cold.
