Job Summary
Our client's NCAL Clinical Trials Program (CTP) within the Digital Solutions team is seeking a Data Management and Entry Analyst II. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and usability of clinical trial data. Reporting to the Digital Solutions Operations Lead, this position supports clinical research activities by managing digital tools, workflows, data, and analytics. The candidate will perform data entry, reconciliation, abstract data, generate reports, and provide user support and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
Support clinical trial data workflows, including data entry, reconciliation, and quality checks.
Abstract and process clinical and administrative data, including PHI, using CTP digital tools.
Perform data and image processing, including cleaning, organizing, de-identification, and issue resolution.
Generate routine and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders and external sponsors or auditors.
Manage user accounts for Clinical Trial Management Systems and Electronic Document Management Systems.
Provide Level 1 functional support and assist in technical troubleshooting alongside IT.
Support User Acceptance Testing including test script execution and documentation.
Manage temporary user access for external monitors and auditors.
Assist in the development of analytics dashboards and visual reports.
Create and maintain workflow documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process diagrams.
Prioritize and process image de-identification requests for patient imaging data. Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree required. Qualifications
3-4 years of progressive experience in clinical trials at a healthcare institution, CRO, biopharma, or sponsor organization.
Experience handling PHI in an FDA-regulated environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Comfortable learning new systems and tools. Preferred Experience
Experience with diagramming tools such as Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart.
Familiarity with clinical trial technologies including EDMS, CTMS, EDC, EHR (EPIC) and eTMF systems.
