A leading manufacturing facility in Menomonee Falls, WI is looking for a skilled PLC Technician to join its automation and maintenance team. If you're experienced with CNC systems, robotics (especially Fanuc), and PLC troubleshooting, and are passionate about keeping equipment running efficiently-this is an opportunity you won't want to miss.

What You'll Do:

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues

Analyze root causes and perform repairs on complex automation systems

Work with Fanuc or similar robotics systems, CNC controls, and PLCs

Design, draw, and interpret electrical circuits and schematics

Use multimeters to troubleshoot down to the board level

Replace and repair electrical components on circuit boards

Write, test, and interpret ladder logic for programmable controllers

Perform data backups and restore equipment during data loss situations

Collaborate with OEM technical support to diagnose failures and document fixes

Use computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) for tracking tasks

Work safely in challenging environments including tight or slippery spaces

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Take on additional technical assignments as needed What We Need From You:

Certificate in Automation Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or Electro-Mechanical fields or 3-6 years of relevant hands-on experience

CNC maintenance and Fanuc/robotics experience is required

Preferred: training in Lockout/Tagout, HAZCOM, forklift safety, Arc Flash, and quality systems

Ability to read schematics and program PLCs using ladder logic

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot independently
