The Accounts Payable position at New Albany Country Club involves managing and processing payments for the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices, ensuring the accuracy of information
Process accounts payable invoices and reconciles them with purchase orders in the Club’s accounting system
Prepare and perform payment runs
Manage vendor inquiries and resolve any payment discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all payments made
Assist department managers with maintaining the Club’s inventory system
Help to reconcile month-end inventories and inventory transfers
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Prior experience in accounts payable
Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality
The position is in-office, 5 days per week
