Description

NCUS TEC's Job Developer plays a crucial role in assisting individuals find employment and connecting job seekers with potential employers.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify Job Opportunities: Find job openings that match the skills of the pathways offered at NCUS TEC

Develop Partnerships: Build relationships with local businesses and employers to facilitate job placements.

Coach Job Seekers: Help with resume creation, interview preparation, and understanding the job market.

Negotiate Terms: Work with employers to negotiate job terms and conditions for job seekers.

Monitor Progress: Follow up with both employers and job seekers after placement to ensure a smooth transition.

Provide Feedback: Offer feedback to job seekers on their job search strategies and interview skills Key Qualifications:

Education: At minimum, Associates Degree in related field

Experience: 1-2 years in related experience

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

An understanding of the local labor market and employment trends

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Attributes:

Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
