JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an energetic, organized and self-motivated person to work in our Shipping and Receiving department. This person will receive and ship materials/equipment, verifying all incoming and outgoing shipments. This person will work with warehouse staff, purchasing, sales, and sign shop. QUALIFICATIONS include:
· Team Player: Ability and desire to work with others across the company, providing exceptional service to our customers, and helping the company grow.
· Hard Worker: Ability to lift 75 pounds and spend significant time each day engaged in manual labor
· Organizational Skills: Prioritize, organize and complete multiple tasks with high quality results within specified timelines every day
· Self-Motivation: Work independently, following instructions and procedures with minimal supervision, recognizing what needs to be done and doing it. RESPONSIBILITIES include:
· Maintain shipping/receiving department in a safe, clean and orderly manner
· Package and ship product
· Verify shipments
· Maintain inventory
· Load and unload trucks/shipments
· Operate hand tools
· Pay close attention to detail and ensure quality in all work/tasks

Functional Responsibilities
Shipping and Receiving Functions
Internal Warehouse Care
Detailed Work Tasks
Quality check by verifying all incoming and outgoing shipments
Partner with Purchasing and/or Sales Manager to appropriately address any defects or low quality products
Accept or Reject incoming shipments following procedures
Organize, plan, and prioritize shipping and receiving work to ensure completion of all orders every day
Confer with other team members to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments as needed
Complete all shipping and receiving functions following procedures
Load and unload trucks per procedures – sales and inventory for sign shop
Internal jobs/responsibilities: Empty garbage (UBC, SSS) and replace liners, Sweep warehouse, clean middle warehouse, organize shelves in warehouse, put materials away (aluminium), shut off A/C-heating each evening, etc
Assist front desk service/sales people as needed
Assist the Sign Shop with production support as needed such as weeding, putting away stock, etc
Do inventory counts as assigned/needed
Maintain Inventory
Maintain warehouse keeping it organized and clean
Follow established warehouse procedures and ensure compliance by others.
