Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Belen, NM
Payrate: $20.94/hr
Shift: 1st shift Mon – Fri 4/10 and 2nd shift Fri – Sun (must be flexible for both shifts)
Duration: Temporary to permanent for the right candidate
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to perform all duties of an “A” level inspector. Makes visual and measured inspection of structural components to ensure conformance with standards. Verifies specified dimensions, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Complies with all safety rules and procedures. Maintains and completes all required records. The Quality Assurance Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our production processes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do:
-Read drawings and blueprints
-Perform and oversee visual and measured inspections using various measurement instruments and inspection equipment
-Perform and oversee visual weld inspection
-Complete inspection records and reports
-Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
-Must be able to operate the following equipment: micrometer, gauges, calipers, tape lines, computer.
-2 or 3 years of experience preferred
-Regular and predictable attendance is required
-Ability to function as a team member
-Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Working Conditions:
-Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
-This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
-Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
-Overtime and Overtime on Saturdays, as needed
-Schedule is subject to change

-Must be a very effective communicator and have great oratorical skills

-Highly Detail Oriented
-Ok with working outside the majority of the time
-Must have steel toe boots
-This is an onsite trained position, candidates do not necessarily need to come from machine/manufacturing/production industry but need to have the above background and desired qualifications
-Ability to operate precision measuring instruments accurately.
-Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
