**Job Description:**

**Software Developer Needed ASAP**

- **Fully Remote but must sit in Ohio, Southern Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana**

- **18 month project with potential to go permanent.**

1. Bachelors in computer science with 3-5 years or other equivalent combination of education and experience in software development.

2. Proficiencies in Python, API Development.

3. Hands on experience in Relational(Oracle, MSSQL) and Non-Relational databases(Mongo).

4. Experience in developing interfaces, writing custom programs for SCADA/OMS/DMS/AMI applications.

5. Experience in coding solution to automate SCADA workflows, proficiency in communication protocols like DNP3/ICCP/Modbus etc.

Hands on experience in Utility Industry is preferred

- Analyze logs and application/system monitors to identify potential issues proactively and create strategic plans to prevent problems.

- Conduct routine backups and periodic restoration tests to validate backups and ensure documented/repeatable procedures are in place for emergency restoration.

- Ensure the basic capabilities of OT applications, including communications, networking, databases, alarming, logging, and human interfaces, are reliably provided.

- Assist team and business process owners in scheduling and administering patches, updates, and server configurations to minimize downtime/unavailability of systems.

Pay: $45-$50/hr
