The purpose of the Graphic Design/CNC Programming position is to develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for programming of computer numeric controlled production equipment. This position creates part programs to control machining or processing of metal by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and maintenance of artwork and placement files for production.
• Creation of artwork and identifying printing methods/techniques based on product and factory limitations.
• Utilizing digital software tools for graphic design, to create high resolution digital graphics.
• Prepare artwork for Digital printing Create Print Ready Files Review supplied files
• Design data in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates
• Determine and create the required reference points or machine cutting paths and the sequence of machine operations.
• Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications and design data.
• Calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds and feed rates.

• Prepare geometric layouts from graphic displays.
• Interact with shop to identify any problems with programs and corrections to be made.
• Create NC programs for CNC Mills/Lathes/Multi axis mills and Multi axis lathes
Requirements
Education/Experience:
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
• CNC machine programming experience required
• Clear Understanding of Drawings and PCM's
• Excellent blueprint reading skills
• Digital Printing
• Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and CNC machine tool operating High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Experience in graphic design. Extensive experience in various graphics software programs.
Physical Demands
• Sedentary work; sitting constantly; using fine motor skills constantly; walking occasionally, lifting 25 lbs. or less occasionally. Some requirements include wearing the correct personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and earplugs, due to flying material bits and machine noise.
Job Type: Full-time, Flexible Schedule, Monday- Friday
Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
