Description:

MIGSO-PCUBED is looking for an experienced and passionate Project Management Consultant with IT experience in the Life Science sector to join our team and support our engagements in the San Francisco Bay Area. This position requires you to be local to the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Who We Are:

MIGSO-PCUBED (MP) is a global consulting firm dedicated to delivering excellence in project, program, and portfolio management. With a global team of 2,000+ consultants across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, we support clients in delivering complex initiatives across industries — with a growing specialization in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, and Biotechnology.

In the Bay Area, we partner with leading biotech and life sciences organizations to drive mission-critical programs that enhance R&D efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and accelerate time-to-market for breakthrough therapies.

What You’ll Do:

As a Project Management Consultant with a focus on Life Sciences, you’ll work alongside our expert PMO consultants to support strategic and operational projects in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical device environments. You’ll help clients execute initiatives across R&D, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and digital health — leveraging your understanding of life sciences and IT systems to deliver high-impact results.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading cross-functional project teams to deliver clinical research, regulatory, or digital transformation initiatives

Developing and maintaining detailed project plans aligned with timelines, budgets, and compliance standards (GxP, FDA, EMA, etc.)

Supporting digital enablement projects (e.g., LIMS, eTMF, ERP, or data platforms) within biotech environments

Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure smooth execution of projects involving scientific and technical complexity

Coordinating with stakeholders across R&D, IT, QA, Regulatory, and external vendors

Preparing executive-level updates, dashboards, and reports to communicate project performance and key decisions

Who You Are:

You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

You have 3–7 years of project management experience, ideally within biotech, pharma, or medical device organizations

You’ve delivered projects in one or more of the following areas: clinical trials, regulatory submissions, lab system implementations, digital health, or R&D process improvement

You bring experience with IT systems used in life sciences (e.g., LIMS, Veeva Vault, TrackWise, or cloud-based R&D tools)

You understand Waterfall and Agile methodologies and have experience applying them in scientific or regulated environments

You are an excellent communicator and influencer who can navigate technical, scientific, and executive stakeholders

You’re proficient in PM tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, etc.

PMP, CAPM, or Agile certifications are a plus

You are local to the Greater San Francisco Bay Area and open to hybrid client-facing work

Why You’ll Love MP:

Collaborate with global PM experts and support cutting-edge biotech and life sciences clients

Grow your career across a wide range of scientific and technical projects

Join a culture that promotes continuous learning, professional certifications, and leadership development

Be part of a team that values integrity, teamwork, curiosity, and innovation

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $125,000 annually for the San Francisco Bay Area. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and performance. This role also includes participation in a performance-based incentive program.

Benefits and Perks:

Competitive medical, dental, and vision contributions for you and your family

Generous PTO and paid holidays

401k with company match

Ongoing professional development and learning programs

Hybrid/flexible work environment
