Who We’re Looking For: We have an opening for a Windows Systems Engineer with a direct client that will only consider candidates already living in Wisconsin able to work in Madison office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

This Systems Engineer will contribute to the design, planning, implementation, and enhancement of infrastructure that supports new applications and technologies. This role includes maintaining and upgrading software and hardware for Windows servers, operating systems, infrastructure systems, and applications.

The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience with widely accepted industry practices, particularly in managing Windows Server systems. Candidates with 8 or more years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. The role involves working independently on a variety of complex tasks and encourages creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.

The successful candidate will be self-driven, able to manage multiple priorities effectively, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in administering Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)

Experience managing Microsoft .NET web applications

Expertise in server and system administration technologies, including:

Microsoft Windows Server

Active Directory

Microsoft SQL Server

VMWare

Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)

PMI PMP certification preferred

ITIL certification preferred

Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and SharePoint

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is 40 and $43. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
