Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspect & identify burrs, sharp edges, & surface imperfections on machined parts.
• Perform manual deburring using files, rotary tools, grinders, & sanders.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, & technical instructions to determine proper finishing requirements.
• Use measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions & tolerances.
• Appy technical knowledge to select appropriate tools, abrasives, & methods for different materials & finishes.
• Maintain cleanliness & organization of the work area in compliance with safety & lean manufacturing standards.
• Log completed work & inspection results accurately per company documentation requirements.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Minimum 2 years of deburring experience, preferably in a production environment
• Problem solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime
• Strong mechanical aptitude & manual dexterity
