We are seeking highly professional and experienced Unarmed Security Officers to join our team at a scenic and busy site near Lake Allatoona. This role requires individuals who take pride in their work, show up reliably, and communicate effectively to help ensure the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors.
Position Overview:
This position involves access control, site patrols, and incident response while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer service. Officers must be comfortable engaging with the public and consistently demonstrate a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and ensuring only authorized personnel gain access.
Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols to deter, detect, and report suspicious activities or safety hazards.
Communication: Operate radios and communicate effectively with site personnel and emergency responders.
Customer Service: Interact with guests and staff professionally, addressing inquiries or concerns with a service-first mindset.
Incident Reporting: Accurately document incidents, daily activities, and observations in clear, well-written reports.
Emergency Response: Follow established protocols during alarms, medical incidents, or disturbances.
Policy Enforcement: Uphold site-specific security protocols and ensure adherence to company procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a security or law enforcement-related role.
Proven background in customer service, with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
High level of professionalism, punctuality, and personal accountability.
Proficient in reading and writing; able to prepare thorough and legible reports.
Capable of clear and confident communication, including proper use of two-way radios.
Must be physically able to stand and walk for extended periods and conduct regular patrols.
Valid drivers license (preferred for mobile patrols).
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
