Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales and Service Rep to join our team in the Midland/Odessa area of Texas. This role is critical to our efforts in servicing and selling to upstream oil and gas accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation equipment, either through direct sales, service, or both.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Account Management:

Assist the regional sales manager in uncovering new customers and system integration opportunities.

Service and sell SignalFire wireless automation equipment to upstream oil and gas accounts in the Midland/Odessa area.

Build and maintain strong relationships with representatives and end-users, ensuring quick responses to requests.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

Technical Expertise:

Demonstrate a deep understanding of automation equipment, with experience in wireless equipment, analog signals, Modbus communications, digital I/O, and HART communications.

Provide service training, product presentations, and technical support to clients.

Commission various types of instruments, including PLCs, RTUs, radar systems, and flow devices.

Travel:

Travel up to 60% needed in West/South Texas and Western Oklahoma to support customer needs and build relationships with clients in these regions.

Presentations and Training:

Conduct presentations and service training sessions for customers, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the products and services offered.

Utilize PowerPoint and other tools to create effective training materials and presentations.

Process Knowledge:

Have working knowledge of upstream oil and gas processes and general instrumentation.

Familiarity with the commissioning of automation equipment.

Self-Driven:

Identify areas that need attention and set your an agenda to accomplish both personal and corporate goals.

Maintain a proactive approach to account management and service delivery.

Knowledge and Skills Requirement:

Proven experience in servicing or selling to upstream oil and gas accounts.

Strong technical knowledge of automation equipment.

Proficiency in Windows operating systems.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Experience with analog signals, Modbus communications, digital I/O, and HART communications.

Past experience with commissioning instruments like PLCs, RTUs, radar, and flow devices is highly desirable.

Ability to travel as required to Oklahoma and South Texas.

Strong presentation and training skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint.

Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve goals

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree or other certifications in engineering or automation

3-5 years of experience with automation equipment, either through direct sales, service, or both
