The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing superior guest service to patrons of our hotel casino by greeting and assisting with the registration process and answering questions pertaining to the hotel operations. Additional duties include responsible for handling of cash and credit transactions, selling of gift shop items and maintaining accurate guest information. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.
Starts at $19.86/hr and increases to $20.96/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience & Requirements:
Minimum one year experience in hotel industry is required
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Cash handling required
PMS experience (preferred)
Must know and use proper English including grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, and have basic arithmetic skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
The ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
