FORKLIFT OPERATOR FOR TURRET AND COUNTERBALANCE

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator with proven experience operating both Turret and Counterbalance forklifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring proper inventory handling and supporting overall logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Turret and Counterbalance forklifts to move, load, unload, and stage product and materials.

Pick, store, and replenish inventory using RF scanners.

Navigate narrow aisles and high racking systems with the Turret forklift.

Follow written and verbal instructions to complete daily tasks accurately and efficiently.

Inspect equipment daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.

Work closely with the warehouse team and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.

Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating both Turret and Counterbalance forklifts.

Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one if required).

Experience using RF scanners and basic warehouse management systems.

Comfortable working at heights and in narrow aisles.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), and bend for extended periods.

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.

Team-oriented with a positive and safety-first attitude.
