CDL/LTL Drivers with Sign-On Bonus

Job Description

Double D Express, Inc is an employee-owned company that has been in business for over 40 years. We currently have openings for LTL drivers. Candidates will be responsible for the safe operation of tractor trailer combination with a gross weight of up to 80000 lbs.

Our available positions run out of our terminal in Peru, Illinois, and run Monday - Friday. No weekends and No holiday!

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck

Load and unload cargo

Properly track and document activity log

Report any issues or incidents to dispatch.

Inspect truck before and after trip.

Qualifications:

Must have at least 1 year experience as CDL truck driver

Class A - CDL Required

Ability to handle physical workload.

Strong work ethic

Need Hazmat tanker endorsement (We will work with you on obtaining if you don't already have one)

Clean Driving Record

Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.

Must have current DOT physical.
