Job Description

Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician

Objective:

The HVAC-R Maintenance Technician ensures the optimal performance of equipment, machinery, and facility systems through preventive maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, pumps, chillers, and boilers.

Install HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and electrical components.

Assist with decommissioning obsolete equipment and supporting external HVAC vendors.

Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety protocols.

Support manufacturing operations by resolving equipment issues.

Additional Responsibilities for Technician:

Monitor machinery and assist with minor adjustments and part replacements.

Analyze and suggest improvements for machine performance.

Independently maintain assigned manufacturing areas.

Support and learn from higher-level technicians.

Authority to Act:

Halt machinery for quality, safety, or excessive scrap concerns.

Replace defective machine parts as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
