Direct Support Professional DSP

Job Description

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team! You will work directly with individuals with physical disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities with the aim of assisting the individuals to work toward their personal daily living goals.

Responsibilities:

Assist, monitor and educate clients with daily independent living skills

Prepare meals, clean and transport clients to medical appointments and outings in the community

Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties

Administer medications, charting and problem solving

Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment

Qualifications:

Must be 21 or older

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver license

Previous experience in personal care or other related fields

Compassionate and caring demeanor

Ability to build rapport with clients
