DevOps Engineer

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.

DevOps Engineer Required Skills:

· Maintaining and updating a CI/CD pipeline

· Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Gitlab, Git, Redmine, etc)

· Familiarity with coding and scripting

· Ability to create scripts/bots using APIs

· System administration

· Communication and collaboration

DevOps Engineer Desired Skills:

· Good working knowledge of Redhat Linux a plus.

· Docker Registry a plus.

· Kubernetes Plugins like ISTIO, MetalLB, mutlus, flannel, haproxy, helm a plus.

DevOps Engineer Additional Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineer or related discipline and at least 1 year of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.

· Effective oral and written communication skills.

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance and must have at least an interim clearance to start.

Currently, we develop and deliver technical documentation and multimedia support including interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs), multimedia applications, computer-based training (CBT), desktop simulation, technical system support including system engineering, software development and programming, lab management, system testing, integration, installation and maintenance for submarine combat systems.
