Allen Organ Company is seeking an ERP Project Manager/Specialist to join our team. The ERP Project Manager/Specialist will manage the current ERP system to ensure that the system is in working properly, data is updated as needed, and training is completed with ERP users as required. Responsibilities will also include assisting the Company in future ERP requirements. This position will report to the VP of Production here at our location in Macungie, PA. The hours are based on production which are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. This is an onsite position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining the ERP system. Serve as the technical point of contact ensuring data integrity, system security and maintenance, and system changes.

Work closely with management and lead meetings involving management, ERP vendor team, consultants and IT to ensure a successful delivery of requirements of the ERP system.

Lead and coordinate ERP implementations/conversions.

Define project scope, goals and deliverables based on the needs of all departments using the ERP; able to keep teams on task and on track with project deliverables and deadlines.

Communicate project and/or system goals and objectives and update timelines.

Coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget and within scope.

Uncover project risks and define a strategy to address those risks.

Assist with the configuration and setup of the modules that best fit the company needs based on feedback from all departments using the ERP. Ensure reports are created and/or custom made and available for department needs.

Ensure understanding of the manufacturing process flow from Sales through Shipping of product, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Inventory Management, Forecasting and Production.

Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment to resolve issues in the system.

Conduct training for users. Create SOPs for processes and train users to create SOPs where needed.

Troubleshoot, research, and solve technical problems in the ERP.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Business or related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience managing ERP implementation/conversion projects.

Prior experience with ERP systems.

Intermediate and/or advance knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.)
