Role: Senior Java Enterprise Oracle Developer

Location: Austin, TX (Remote for those local to Texas)

Duration: 12 Months

Summary:

The client has issued a request for an Enterprise Developer with Java and Oracle DB development experience. Ideal candidates should have knowledge and understanding of the Texas Integrated Data Exchange Node (TIDEN) whose purpose is to electronically transmit environmental compliance and enforcement data from internal the client systems to the EPA.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Support the development and maintenance of multiple applications that operate in complex Java and Oracle environments.

Provide Information Technology services as necessary to implement and deploy selected the client projects.

Produce running program modules which meet the client, DIR and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Specifications and agency standards.

Support System Acceptance/User Acceptance testing issue resolutions.

Minimum Candidate Characteristics:

7+ years of Java and Oracle DB development experience

J2EE, SQL Server

Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:

Experience with an environmental agency

TIDEN experience

Required Skills:

8 years of Required Advanced Enterprise Developer with 7+ years' experience in Java

7 years of Required Advanced Enterprise Developer with 5+ years' experience in Oracle database (SQL and PL/SQL)

Preferred Skills:

5 years of Preferred Good working knowledge in SQL Server databases, Java-Web services, JSP/UL, JBOSS, Spring, Jenkins, J2EE

5 years of Preferred Good working knowledge in XML and database connectivity.

5 years of Preferred Proficient understanding of system networking, Full stack Java Web application developmentCompany Description
