Job Description

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions partners with a prominent client located in the Grand Rapids area. They are seeking eager individuals for their forklift position:

Job Title: Full-Time Forklift Operator

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Overtime as needed, including Saturdays)

Pay: $18/hour to start $18.50/hour upon hirePosition Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team! This is a full-time, first-shift role that plays a key part in our daily operations. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with recent forklift experience and a strong attention to detail. If you're dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to grow with us, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to support shipping, receiving, and inventory processes

Accurately pick, stage, and ship materials while following FIFO procedures

Assist with inventory control and maintain packaging and supply stock

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Comply with company policies, work instructions, and safety regulations

Work collaboratively to meet fulfillment and quality expectations

Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager

May be required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Must be flexible to work overtime and occasional weekendsQualifications:

Recent forklift experience (within the past 12 months) is required

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. periodically

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Team-oriented, coachable, and self-motivated

Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Basic computer skills preferred

Reliable attendance and punctuality are essentialPerformance Expectations:
