The role of the Private Client Associate is to provide support to the Private Client Team and assist in all aspects of Marquette's Wealth Advisement service line in order to provide exceptional client service to private clients.
Responsibilites:
Prepare all paperwork necessary for clients (new account opening, custodial contracts, manager forms, transfer forms, subscription documents for alternative investments, termination letters for legacy managers, and other various authorizations)
Manage general client account inquiries including maintenance requests, charitable gifting, required minimum distributions and address changes
Assist with Trading on multiple custodial platforms
Assist the Private Client Team with projects as assigned
Meticulously complete trade blotters and other compliance checks
Assist with performance reporting checks
Competencies for Success / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or other relevant field
Attention to detail and highly organized, ability to work independently to meet deadlines
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and react to change positively
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
Highly motivated with strong work ethic
Critical thinking skills, self-starter with excellent follow-up abilities
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to quickly learn new software applications, including those which are proprietary
Progress toward CFA, CFP or CIMA certification a plus
$69,000 - $73,500 a year
The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan, which includes a target bonus of $6,000.
