Job Description

Express has a client who is looking for an Industrial Delivery Driver to start immediately in Miramar.

*UBER/LIFT/FOOD DELIVERY IS NOT APPLICABLE EXPERIENCE FOR THIS POSITION*

We are looking for energetic team members to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. This is a long-term opportunity. A temp-to-hire, permanent position offering medical/dental insurance, paid time off, and other benefits.

You will need a valid driver’s license, a clean driving history, and the ability to pass a drug test. The ideal candidate will have experience using forklifts and pallet jacks and be familiar with warehousing and delivery-related processes. The driver is a critical position for our incoming and outgoing deliveries to our clients.

Delivery Driver Highlights:

Safely drive and operate delivery Box Truck (16 ft and 24ft)

Load and unload items from truck, manually or with use of hand trucks and forklift

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Deliver product to customers with an outstanding customer service attitude!

Navigate a variety of delivery routes throughout San Diego county

May utilize handheld device for route and customer delivery information.

What We Look for in Delivery Drivers:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

2+ years’ INDUSTRIAL delivery driving experience (no food delivery)

Must have experience with driving & operating up to 25 ft stake bed/box trucks

Must be able to work the assigned schedule and comply with the Company''s timekeeping policy

Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner

High School education or equivalent is required

Pay Rate: $23.00 hourly

Schedule: M-F, 1st Shift 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (start times may vary)
