Belchertown Eye Care & Sunglass Shop is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MA Licensed Optician to join our team of eye care professionals in Belchertown, MA. As a Licensed Optician, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding vision care services and products to our patients. In this role, you will perform various duties related to eyeglass sales, dispensing, lens fabrication, and contact lens evaluation, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eyeglass dispensing and sales, including frame selection, lens design, and lens options consultation.

Neutralize lenses, verify prescriptions, and maintain high-quality control standards.

Conduct contact lens evaluations, fittings, and follow-up care for patients.

Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, new products, and advancements in vision care technology.

Ensure a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused environment for patients. Great Customer experience is everything.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Current Massachusetts Licensed Optician certification.

Strong knowledge of various lens types, coatings, materials, and frame options.

Proficiency in optical measurements, trouble shooting, adjustments, and fittings..

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate ranging from $34 to $45 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
