Assembly - Casting Operator

Job Description

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $19–$21/hour

Position Overview:

A Sarasota-based healthcare manufacturer is seeking a skilled Casting Technician to produce high-quality silicone and polyurethane components. This role involves preparing molds, casting materials, and applying silicone painting techniques. Precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of casting processes are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret production instructions and technical drawings

Prepare molds and mix silicone/polyurethane materials per specifications

Cast components with precision and monitor curing processes

Trim, clean, and finish parts to meet quality standards

Perform quality inspections throughout the production process

Apply silicone painting techniques using tools such as airbrushes and brushes

Maintain accurate production and quality records

Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and improve processes

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in casting or painting is a plus

Experience with silicone and polyurethane casting

Proficient in silicone painting and finishing techniques

Strong understanding of material properties and curing processes

Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
