Plant Operator

DUTIES:

- Operate and maintain plant equipment and machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment

- Analyze data and make adjustments to optimize plant performance

- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions

- Monitor and control distributed control systems

- Collect and record data on plant operations

- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

- Assist with the implementation of plant improvement projects

REQUIREMENTS:

- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for equipment repair (preferred)

- Experience operating tanker trucks and other heavy machinery/equipment

- Familiarity with control systems

- Basic math skills for data collection and analysis

- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints (preferred)

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting (50-100 lbs.) and climbing ladders/equipment

- Knowledge of water treatment process (preferred)

OTHER:

- Bilingual- English/Spanish (preferred)

- Previous mining experience (preferred)
