CNC Setup Machinist / Programmer – Des Moines, IA

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Machinist (5+ years) with strong setup and programming skills to join us. Working with 5-axis VMC and turning centers with live tooling creating tight-tolerance parts.

Key Duties:

Setup, program, and operate CNC equipment

Machine tight-tolerance aerospace/defense parts—hold tolerances of .0002"

Read blueprints & interpret GD&T

Perform inspections and optimize processes

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams

Key Qualifications:

5+ years CNC setup experience on advanced equipment

Must have experience with multi spindle- multi turret lathes.

CNC programming skills (CAM experience a plus)

Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

Experience machining tight-tolerance parts

Team player with problem-solving mindset

Pay range is $27.00–$37.00/hr, based on experience and technical proficiency.
