Job Description
Position Summary
The Operations Manager provides operational support, direction and leadership to the depot and warehouse team. Monitors equipment coming in and out of the depot to establish production expectations, quality of work and timeliness of repairs. This individual is responsible for the receiving, organization, shipping, and inventorying of equipment coming into and out of the warehouse on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
Leading, coaching, developing, and providing direction to the team
Ability to execute and deliver on key performance metrics and P&L expectations while driving and influencing positive performance results within your team
Maintain an understanding of the customers and their end user markets
Identify and implement methods of improving productivity, quality, safety, and costs
Maximize utilization of depot technicians and warehouse staff
This position will make staffing recommendations, administer corrective action and other employment- related actions for the team.
Establish expectations through defined communication, training platform and standard operating procedures (SOP), to include regular staff meetings with your assigned direct reports
Conduct regular on-on-one performance meetings with direct reports to address areas of improvement and to positively reinforce performance
Evaluate and collaborate on training for your new hire and current team as needed to ensure proper execution of processes and procedures
Continuously work to improve operational processes to meet budgetary requirements while meeting service level expectations
Maintain 5S and safety compliance
Regular review of vendors that provide facility services to ensure the best price and service is being achieved
Create weekly and monthly status reports that includes individual and team performance / productivity
Serve as an escalation point to resolve any challenges / concerns
Work with all levels of the organization and serve as a customer facing representative to ensure world class service is being provided on a consistent basis to our customers and partners

Minimum Position Requirements
Requires a strong technical aptitude and demonstrated ability to develop technical knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence change.
Possess strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) to analyze data and trends.
Flexibility in adapting to changes in tasks prioritization.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated strong analytical, communication (written & verbal) at all levels.
Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize own workload.
Hands on professional who is internally driven to get things done.
Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, or oral form.
Ability to motivate people, as well as assess and develop employee skills. Strong leadership ability with a focus on team building and employee coaching & development.
Ability to communicate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders. Ability to work with different functional teams and lead decision-making processes within the organization.
Education and/or Requirements
Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Minimum 2 years management experience and leading a team.
