Controller
Summary/Objective
The Controller will plan, propose and implement and direct the controlling operations of the company.
Essential Functions

Work with finance, operations and other teams to implement system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk. Report risk to risk management team, via required global reporting.
Enhance and/or develop, implement, maintain and enforce a documented system of policies, practices and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operations and effectiveness of the various companies. Accomplish organization mission by completing related functions as required.
Ensure that such procedures and processes are properly followed and ensures deviations are reported to management with explanations and suggestions for remedy.
Standard and job costing – work with Group controller to develop methods to capture costs accurately and include them in monthly reporting.
Prepare separate reporting for parts department and recycling center.
Produces the monthly variance and other reports; ensures that the reported results comply with international financial reporting standards and comparison with budget.
Report on parent company benchmarks, which will be used to measure the company’s performance. Prepare, present, and develop KPI’s to monitor plant performance to achieve company goals.
Monthly commissions calculations for representatives.
Monthly purchasing reporting – sending reports and trends to relevant department managers.
Annual inventory and reconciliation including LCM and obsolescence. Monitor monthly inventory provisions and provide proposed adjustments.
Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
Ad hoc reporting for management regarding expenditure, budget preparation and capital investment analysis.
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements and prepares reports for regulatory agencies
Work with the bank transactions daily and prevent fraud.
Expense reporting administration and approval.
Finance team representative for 6S.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
Works with the Finance Department, for inventory, capital expenditure analysis, standard costing and ad-hoc reports. No direct reports.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
CPA or CMA preferred.
Five to ten years or more of related experience required.
Computer Software and Tools
Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Access experience is required. ERP experience Sage X3 and/or SAP. Certify, Nectari reporting tools, Credit Safe, Certify Expense, Power BI
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel
Some travel is expected for this position, generally to other US based subsidiaries to facilitate training and cooperation.

Salary:
$100,000 plus bonus
