JOB TITLE: Chief Flooring Estimator

SUMMARY: Transylvania Flooring Professionals is a leading commercial flooring installation company specializing in polished concrete, epoxy installation, tile, and ceramic installations. With our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, we have established a formidable reputation in the industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Estimator to join our team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedules, coordinates, and oversees multiple construction projects
Scheduling of sub-contractors per project
Coordinates all necessary inspections.
Assembles bid packets; approves and selects vendors and contractors
The ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
The ability to manage time well and multitask
Experience in Flooring estimating
Understanding in how to measure floor plans and blueprints to provide quantities for bids, contracting, and ordering purposes for flooring materials
Completes all necessary paperwork.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and estimating software
QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Practical floor installation knowledge.

Proficient on Microsoft 365, estimating software
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
