They are seeking a skilled and driven Process Engineer or Process Technician with experience in electrical or process engineering within an electronics production environment.
Position Summary:
The Process Engineer / Technician will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, supporting new product introductions, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement in an electronics manufacturing setting. This role requires a hands-on problem solver with a strong understanding of electronic components, SMT processes, and process validation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes in electronics production.
Provide technical support to production teams including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with design and quality engineering to support product development and process validation.
Implement and document process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Monitor and adjust electrical and mechanical process parameters for consistency and performance.
Support maintenance of equipment used in SMT, PCB assembly, testing, and other electronic fabrication areas.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and company quality objectives.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in process engineering or as a process technician in electronics manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with SMT equipment, PCB assembly, reflow soldering, and automated inspection tools.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Proficiency in using engineering tools, schematics, and diagnostic instruments.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
