Integration Engineering II - B

Varstaff is currently searching for an Integration Engineering II – B professional!

This is an immediate need.

B Shift Monday – Thursday 3:00PM - 1:30AM

Responsibilities:

• Pressure test of rocket engine components such as main valves, ancillary valves, housings, manifolds, and combustion chambers

• Non-conformance root cause identification

• Nitrogen and helium leak testing

• Environmental testing including vibration and thermal

• Hydrostatic proof testing and water flow testing

• Test tooling assembly

• Maintain strict cleanliness requirements for fuel and oxidizer valves

• Maintain test equipment inventory such as calibrated items

• Safely work with hazardous systems, chemicals, and high-pressure operations

• Identify, develop, and implement manufacturing improvements to reduce cost, increase efficiency, and increase throughput

• Support the development and improvement of electronic manufacturing work instructions

• Identify non-conformances and engage in corrective actions

Qualifications:

• 0 to 8 years of pressure systems experience and component test experience

• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings

• Extensive experience reading and understanding specification and detailed work instructions

• Proven experience and successful track record developing new processes

• Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)

• Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels of the organization

• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Physical Requirements:

• Climb ladders and stairs

• Lift and carry 50 lbs. for limited durations

• Work schedule may vary and depend on hardware and testing

• Work schedule may vary and depend on training required

• Remain flexible by working overtime and weekends (when necessary)
