Job Title: Technology (Azure Support & Infrastructure)

About the Role

Were looking for a hands-on Technology Manager / Azure Administrator to support and maintain our Azure-based cloud environment and infrastructure. Youll act as a system caretakersomeone who ensures the environment is healthy, secure, cost-effective, and performing smoothly. This role isnt about building architecture or leading teamsits about being the go-to problem solver, keeping things running, and continuously improving how we operate.

Youll wear a few hats across Azure monitoring, VM support, light database tasks, and general IT operations. Ideal for someone with experience in cloud support, systems administration, or infrastructure roles, who enjoys autonomy, flexibility, and being trusted to own their environment.

What Youll Do

Azure Support & Cloud Maintenance

Monitor Azure virtual machines, resources, and cloud services to ensure uptime and performance.

Handle alerts, escalations, and day-to-day support for infrastructure issues.

Manage cloud configurations, perform updates, and work with 3rd-party partners as needed.

Monitor and help control Azure costs and performance with support from leadership.

Database & Systems Support

Assist with managing and maintaining cloud-hosted databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Support tasks like backups, minor tuning, and restoresheavy engineering not required.

Help improve basic documentation and operational checklists.

IT & Hybrid Support

Support HL7 Rhapsody engine setup (well train you).

Handle occasional on-prem support needs (remote access, network checks, local troubleshooting).

Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams on updates and monitoring tools.

Security & Compliance

Follow and support established security best practices (access controls, backups, patching).

Help implement continuous improvements for compliance and performance tracking.

What Were Looking For

Background & Experience

27+ years in a cloud support, sysadmin, help desk, or IT infrastructure role.

Experience working in or supporting Azure cloud environments.

Some experience monitoring or supporting VMs, cloud storage, or networking.

Exposure to database administration or support is a plus, but deep SQL experience is not required.

Technical Comfort Zone

Familiarity with Azure VM administration, cost/resource tuning, and monitoring tools.

Comfortable with PowerShell or Azure CLI for basic tasks and automation.

Bonus if youve worked in an MSP or healthcare IT setting.

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
