Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

This full-time Material Handler position is located in Erlanger, KY, and involves working on the return lane from 10pm to 6:30am, Sunday through Thursday. The role requires working every other weekend with a current schedule of 12 days on, followed by 2 days off. The primary responsibility is verifying stock for accuracy as it returns from production, correcting and identifying losses, ensuring safe operation of powered industrial equipment, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Verify stock for accuracy as it comes back from production.

Correct and identify losses in stock.

Ensure safe operations of powered industrial equipment.

Maintain an organized layout and safe work environment.

Understand and follow instructions listed on reports/pick sheets.

Check and add all materials listed on pick sheets.

Precisely weigh materials from production areas to be put back into stock.

Follow QC sampling procedures.

Report QC deviations.

Execute all required transactions on terminal software and handheld scanners.

Pull and return material to approved locations in warehouses.

Follow ISO9001, GMP, and HACCP procedures.

Ensure inventory record accuracy of 95% or greater.

Perform other duties as necessary.Essential Skills

High School diploma or equivalent; degree in a related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, and Transportation.

Experience with bar-coding.

Forklift (standup) experience.

Basic math skills.

Basic computer skills, including Word.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Material handling experience.

Stand-up forklift operation.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and organized, and employees will be trained in various departments. The role involves standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and bending throughout the 8-hour shift, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Erlanger, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
