Job Title: Order Picker/Packer

Job Description

As an Order Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of orders. You will be responsible for receiving and checking incoming pick tickets, locating products using technology, and retrieving orders according to specified quantities and sizes. You will also build pallets with orders, wrap them, and position them at loading docks. Additionally, you will manually restock inventory, keep records of completed orders, and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions. Adherence to health and safety policies and quality standards is essential.

Responsibilities

Receive and check incoming pick tickets.

Locate products using technology.

Retrieve orders according to quantity and size, ensuring accuracy.

Build pallets with orders and position them at loading docks.

Wrap orders before loading onto trucks.

Restock inventory manually.

Keep records of completed orders.

Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.

Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.

Load and unload trucks, lifting up to 50 pounds.Essential Skills

1+ years of warehouse experience.

Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.

Multitasking and organizational skills.

Experience in warehouse packing and order picking.

Proficiency with RF scanners.Additional Skills & Qualifications

General labor experience.

Work Environment

The position is based in a clean and organized warehouse environment, operating on a third shift schedule from 9 PM to 5 AM, Monday through Wednesday. The team consists of 25 people, and each employee is provided with a locker.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Allis, Wisconsin.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
