Job Description

Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials within the yard and facility. Load and unload materials while ensuring they are transported to designated areas within the facility. Push materials through the facility to support production processes. Maintain a clean and organized yard, ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts and other equipment. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with inventory management and record-keeping as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Responsibilities

At least 5 years of experience operating a forklift in a heavy industrial environment

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis

Work Environment

This is a heavy industrial steel fabrication environment, which is non-climate controlled and surrounded by various welding machines and equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Goose Creek, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
