Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up molds for injection molding machines, coordinating and scheduling tasks to ensure timely project completion, and developing, deploying, and maintaining SOPs throughout the factory floor. Effective communication with the purchasing department for material or component shortages and collaboration with the process engineering team to schedule trials are also essential. Additionally, enforcing company policies with employees is a key part of this role.

Responsibilities

Set up molds for injection molding machines

Coordinate and schedule tasks ensuring timely project completion

Develop, deploy, and maintain SOPs throughout the factory floor

Communicate with purchasing for any material or component shortages

Work with process engineering team to schedule trials

Minimum 5 years experience in plastics industry project management within injection molding and quality initiatives

Solid foundation of technical knowledge of custom molding

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, Project

Strong communication skills to interact across various departments as well as with customers

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, Connecticut.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
