LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a nonprofit organization in Queens, NY on this permanent Program Manager opportunity.
Position Title: Program Manager – Support Services
Location: Queens, NY
Position Summary:
The Program Manager will oversee daily operations of several direct service programs including healthcare case management, grant-funded initiatives, food and nutrition services, and support groups. This role ensures that all services meet compliance standards, budget expectations, and quality outcomes. The Program Manager also plays a vital role in staff supervision, program growth, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee program compliance, service quality, budget performance, and reporting requirements
Assist in managing grants, revenue projections, and departmental budgeting
Recruit, hire, and supervise staff; provide clinical and administrative support
Lead and participate in multidisciplinary meetings and service planning
Develop recruitment strategies to increase client enrollment
Conduct quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Update and maintain program materials and outreach tools
Resolve service-related issues involving clients, providers, or community partners
Foster collaboration across departments to ensure holistic service delivery
Submit timely internal and external reports
Deliver staff training and represent the organization at external events
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years in a related field (social work, human services, etc.)
2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
Experience working with vulnerable or high-risk populations (e.g., mental illness, SUD, HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ+, immigrants)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with government-funded programs and reporting
UAS-NY certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
Bilingual (Spanish or Asian languages) is a plus
Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed
Pay Details: $58,500.00 to $78,000.00 per year
