Must-Haves:

Active Professional or Profee Coding Certification – CPC is required.

Cardio Surgical coding experience

Hospital procedure coding

ICD-10 experience.

Experience in evaluation and management.

Experience in an environment with a high-volume of surgeries and charts to code per hour.

Experience working with the EPIC system.

As a Surgical Cardio Coder, you will be working with both invasive surgeries and less major hospital visits. You will be working in Cardiology. The role will be coding TAVR's, Peripheral Vascular, Heart Catheters, and ICD Implants procedures. We are looking for a candidate with experience with at least one of these procedures. If you have thorough experience coding for cardiology surgeries and are looking for a remote role with a great team, this role could be a perfect fit! This role is with a large hospital client in Florida. The role itself is based in Jacksonville, FL but is fully remote with flexible hours. It is a contract to hire position that will convert at the 6-month mark. The pay rate is ranging from $23-$30/hour dependent on experience.
