Job Title: Screen Room Operator - 8th Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a Screen Room Operator for the 8th shift to join our team and work in a clean, main room setting. The position involves operating various machines according to work instruction standards, disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling these machines and containers to meet quality control standards, and adhering to the 'clean as you go' policy along with CORE and FOD expectations. The role requires the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with all environmental health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
Operate machines such as scalper, classifier, sweco, and rotex following work instruction standards.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble main room machines and containers, including scalper, classifier, sweco, rotex, storage bins, revert bins, and cans, ensuring they meet quality control standards.
Maintain a clean work environment by following 'clean as you go' practices and adhering to CORE and FOD expectations.
Utilize personal protective equipment and follow all environmental health and safety requirements.Essential Skills
Experience in a production setting as a general production worker, machine operator, or plant laborer.
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at work.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, such as a G.E.D., or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayville, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
