VocoVision is teaming up with an Ohio school district to seek out a VirtualSpeech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This opportunity allows you to deliver online services to students dealing with various communication challenges, all while enjoying the freedom of an independent contractor.

Position Overview

Independent contractor status (1099)

Focus on K-12 students with mild to moderate speech-related issues

Full-time or Part-time hours available

Utilization of Zoom Plus platform (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)

School day hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

SLP Job Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Active SLP license in Ohio

Two years of relevant experience, preferably in a school environment

SLP Job Responsibilities

Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations

Provide remote therapy sessions and interventions as per IEP requirements

Develop IEPs based on assessment outcomes

Utilize online tools, specifically Zoom Plus, for evaluations and therapy sessions

Collaborate with on-site educators and professionals to meet student needs

Attend virtual IEP meetings with families and faculty
