Job Description

This role involves performing repetitive general labor tasks, specifically taking bricks from kiln carts and stacking them on the monorail. The job requires standing in one area and moving bricks repeatedly.

Responsibilities

Assist in all brick manufacturing operations.

Mix sands for sand applications, set up and maintain sand applications.

Mix slurry for slurry applications, set up and maintain all aspects of slurry applications.

Clean, maintain, install, and adjust all dies, heads, and cutting blades.

Monitor and ensure the quality of bricks being made.

Track schedule and ensure paints and sands are ready for changeovers.

Maintain all SOPs and inventory tracking documents.

Observe, report, and assist in department equipment maintenance and repairs as directed.Essential Skills

Mechanically inclined.

Attention to detail.

Ability to lift 50lbs.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Strong mechanical skills and understanding.

Work Environment

The work environment does not require certifications or medical requirements. Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are provided. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes and long pants. The work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springdale, Pennsylvania.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
