Job Description

The position is responsible for the assembly of axles and related components on the line. The goal is to ensure a quality axle product for placement to the chassis line in a safe and timely fashion, and to guarantee that all products are assembled, tested, and verified to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Build axles and related assemblies in an efficient, quality-driven manner.

Meet productivity, safety, and quality goals set by the company.

Report to the line leader, supervisor, and/or direct manager any issues that could interfere with the delivery of axles or related department assemblies to the chassis line or the final customer.

Ensure a clean working environment.

Observe and conform to company policies, including work instructions, SOPs, and safety rules.

Support the Quality and Environmental Policies and Management Systems.

Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills

Tool knowledge

Manufacturing/production experience

Ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to lift up to 55 lbs

Work Environment

The work environment is a production facility with 6 assembly lines. The shifts are Monday - Friday with 1st shift from 6am - 2:30pm and 2nd shift from 3pm - 12:30am. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt. Eye, ear, and hand protection are provided by the client.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alburtis, Pennsylvania.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
