Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description: Are you an experienced Assembly Technician looking for a new challenge? Join our dynamic team in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment! We are seeking a skilled professional with over 3 years of experience in assembling and testing products, proficient in reading blueprints. This role involves using various hand-tools and power-tools, setting up and operating presses, and ensuring the quality of final products.
Responsibilities
Assemble products and inspect materials for compliance with manufacturing specifications using work instructions, work orders, sketches, and engineering drawings.
Set up and operate hydraulic and hand presses.
Use various hand-tools and power-tools (such as pneumatic torque wrench, screwdriver, and electric drill), taps, and glues for assembling, wiring, cleaning, rustproofing, and handling filters and components.
Inspect final assembly and/or products to ensure quality meets all specifications.
Perform other assembly support functions including washing, testing, and rotating on different job tasks within the department.
Utilize the company-wide computer system to check stock, access engineering drawings, and monitor work order status and other job-related transactions.
Disassemble filters returned for credit, as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in assembly in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience in assembling and testing products
3+ years of blueprint reading experience
Proficiency in using electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
Mechanical assembly and repair
Preventive maintenance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to multi-task
Use basic hand and power tools
Work independently or in a team
Cross-training in various shop functions including assembly, sub-assembly, rotomold trimming, parts washing, and material handling

Flexible Shifts: We have openings on all three shifts. The shifts are as follows: 10:00 pm – 6:30 am (Sunday night start). Training will be on the first shift for several months.
Competitive Pay: Starting rate is $20.50/hr, with a progression scale up to $23.00 by 12 months with good performance. Once transitioned to the third shift, you will be eligible for a $1.50/hr shift differential.

Permanent Position: This is a permanent position based out of Leetsdale, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $47840.00/yr.
We also offer a matching 401k plan. Eligibility starts after six months of employment. The first 3% contributed is matched $1 for $1; the next 2% is matched $0.50 for every $1.
